Public Relations Account Executive

Established and rapidly-growing, full-service Public Relations and Advertising Agency is seeking a talented and experienced public relations account executive. The ideal candidate will display the ability to work creatively and strategically in a fast-paced environment. The individual will drive day-to-day management of specific accounts including execution and project management; develop relationships with key media contacts; conduct strategically targeted media relations efforts; prepare a full range of written marketing communications materials; and develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business and competitive set. In addition, this individual should have a working knowledge of all advertising components and display an interest and capability to manage a variety of marketing communications projects.

Qualifications:

- 2-5 years experience in agency or corporate communications environment - BA/BS in Communications, English or related field - Strong writing skills - Solid knowledge of current events - Work efficiently in a high-paced atmosphere - Must be a self-starter with the ability to pay attention to details, prioritize, multi-task, work under deadline and excel in a team-based environment - Strong drive, enthusiastic take charge attitude - Must check ego at the door
